In June we got the camper out for the first and only time this season. We went to Seeley lake. It was a nice weekend but started off in typical fashion for us. We found a nice camping spot and as we pulled in I said "OH look! Lucky # 13. This should be perfect!" And like the optimistic fools we are we chuckled. As we started to get the camper all set up we kept passing the front of the camper and each time we would hear chirpping. At first we just enjoyed the sounds of the great outdoors and worked hard to get thing just right but finally I just had to listen to that small voice that kept saying somethings not right. So I stopped by the front hitch and really listened and sure enough that sweet chirpping sounds was coming from the area above the hitch. I called Marlin up and said,"Honey I think we have some birds inside the walls of the camper." Well sure enough as he investigated the birds at home had discovered that through that little hole was a huge area to build a nest for their 3 babies. This area of the camper is directly behind the headboard in the camper. Well to make a long story shorter we spent at next couple of hours flushing out the 3 baby birds and digging out as much of the nest as we could. I think next time I won't laugh when we pull into a #13 camping spot! All in all it was a wonderful camping trip.

So funny! We were glad not to have chirping behind our bed when we were visiting.
